Can my Baxi back boiler run without the firefront?

Question by rosstance: Can my Baxi back boiler run without the firefront?
Just purchased a house and have a really old fashioned outset firefront. We cant replace this with a modern Baxi inset one so wondered if we could remove the firefront all together and put an electric suite on the front (ensuring we vent the boiler).
