The temp is arranged at 65 degrees. I’m hoping it is a thermostat problem.

Replace the thermostat and you may as well install a programmable one.
Pardon the pun, but your thermostat’s,,, toast!
Check that the boiler stat isn’t set too high.
Its not the wall thermostat, its the thermostat on the boiler itself.
Its called the high/low thermostat and its located on the boiler. If your boiler kicks on too soon it means that it needs to be reset to down so that it will kick on when the boiler temp is, say 20 degrees lower than desired setting (not 5 or 10 degrees different)
